Small triangle shape tungsten carbide trimming tool is made for finishing your pot and refining it’s shape. Thanks to thin and sharp blades you can easily carve into foot and lid galleries. You can easily trim any small pot you wouldn’t be able to do with large tool. This shape helps with adding sharp lines and small details. It is simply irreplaceable during trimming.

Design: Tool is made from 3 parts: Beech wood handle, brushed aluminum cap and Tungsten carbide blade.

Handle: The handle is turned by hand from Beech wood to assure its durability and great shape to match any hand. It sits nicely in your palm so you can grip it tightly for the best trimming results.

Blade: Blade is made from tungsten carbide which is one of the hardest metals. It doesn’t wear or dull like steel does and can be used without sharpening for a long time. It is sharpened to an angle so it cuts through clay like butter. 

Caution: Blade is made from material which is very hard and durable, so it stays sharp for a long time, you can not bend it in the fingers. But because of this it is brittle and if dropped blades can shatter like porcelain. Don’t soak it in water, after using quickly wash it and wipe to dry. 

Sharpening: The Tool is extremely sharp and durable, but after months of regular use it can slightly dull. To maintain it’s high trimming performance if needed use fine (400 grid or finer ) diamond file or if you don’t have one simply good sandpaper. File inner part as outer is beveled and doesn’t need sharpening.
