MOST WORKSHOPS INCLUDE CLAY, GLAZE & FIRING
Weekend workshops at Krueger Pottery mean
demonstrations, slide shows & hands-on pottery making... invaluable
tools for increasing your ceramic skills and knowledge. Our workshops
are designed for intermediate to advanced students.

BOTTLES AND POURING VESSELS
with Yael Shomroni $75 per student
MAY 17 (10AM-4PM)
MAY 18 (NOON-4PM)


Yael is a popular
local artist whose work has been shown at Craft Alliance, Laumeier,
Krueger & more. This 2-day workshop includes 25 lbs stoneware clay,
studio access for the weekend, firing and glazing. The workshop will
cover:
- Her process of creating bottle necks on wheel thrown
forms
- The
types of vessels that work for bottle neck forms
- Tools she uses to create spouts and necks
- Students will make 2-3 complete forms including olive oil jugs,
soy bottles and other table friendly pouring vessels.
*Class size is limited
so please enroll in advance.
We reserve the right to cancel if less than five students have enrolled.
Students may return to the studio to glaze pieces created during the
workshop at no additional charge (using Krueger's C/6 Palette only).
Please allow one to two weeks for bisque firing.

MAKING SLUMP/HUMP PLASTER
MOLDS

SAT AUG. 16 (10AM-5PM)
Melody Evans is
a local sculptor whose work has been shown in St. Louis and California.
This 1-day workshop includes all materials. The workshop will cover:
- Her process of creating slump/hump molds to be used
in handbuilding
- Tools & processes she uses to create the molds
- Students will make 1 complete form
-This class leads
up to an optional six week class to be offered in Fall 2008
