Foundations
Foundation's Colors: This basic color palette will give you
a solid foundation upon which to build designs. All the colors are non-toxic
and food safe. Fire to shelf cone 06.
Superior Coverage: With foundations, any shape can be base coated
with two to three coats of glaze. For example, with just one to two
ounces, opaque coverage can be achieved on a dinner plate.
Foundations' thin, smooth consistency makes application easy, as the
glaze glides smoothly on the bisque. Foundations are not streaky, won't
pick up the previous coats of glaze, and show fewer brush strokes than
thicker glazes. And, Foundations do not require clear glaze application.
All of this measn less glaze!
You can continue to use Stroke & Coat glazes as a perfect design
compliment on top of Foundations. Foundations are also compatible with
Creative Images.
Gloss Finish: Foundations fire to a gloss finish elimnating
the extra step and cost of applying a clear glaze. With Foundations,
projects can be fired the same day. If Foundations are dipped in clear
glaze, they will still fire to a gloss finish and be food safe.
