If a kiln vent such as the Skutt Envirovent or Orton Ventmaster is installed it should be turned on during the entire firing.

This segment determines your final Cone temperature, so you may need
to adjust Temp 3 or Hold3 for a Cone 6 witness cone to
bend 90Deg in your kiln.
