Shimpo pottery equipment has always been made to a higher standard. Both the VL Whisper and The RK Whisper use the same Direct Drive motor. There are no belts used in either of these wheels, which makes them low maintenence and extremely quiet. Both wheels are responsive and produce high torque at all speeds. A table can be added to the RK Whisper if desired. Either of these wheels can be shipped via UPS ready to use.

    Brent Wheels

    Brent Wheels are the most common wheels in the U.S. today. Schools, colleges, and studio potters have relied on Brent to provide durable reliable equipment for their use. Each Brent wheel is individually tested for 17 hours at operating speed, and every wheel is backed by a 2 year warranty. Brent wheels feature electronic speed controls, automatic belt tensioning and belt guards. The variable speed wheels also feature all steel construction to provide a stable throwing surface. Wheelheads are machined steel pre-drilled with bat pins at 10" on-center.
